New Routes
Site-responsive public art commission in coordination with Elmvale Primary School and The Winter Gardens Trust, Springburn, Glasgow, UK (2019).
Thirty bronze cast Jesmonite sculptures installed to highlight a designated route between Springburn Park and Elmvale Primary School, Glasgow. The sculptures are installed on roofs, in trees, below walls, beside walkways and underneath bridges (to name but a few of their hiding places!) The creatures have been designed and molded in collaboration with students from Elmvale Primary School, using local histories, mythology and personal stories as inspiration.
